Boys Indoor Volleyball

Evolution Volleyball Academy is commtted to providing the highest level of training through our Master Coaching System. This means that each player will be trained in the same methods techniques and verbage regardless what team or level they play with.  Players will experience a challenging, fun, and supportivice practice environment and have a balance of scrimages and skills specific training.  Player uniform package is INCLUDED in your fee!

EVA offers the following levels of play:

• Middles school (12U / 13U / 14U):  Regional and Travel teams.  November 4,  2024 - March 31, 2025
• High School:  (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior): Regional: September 2, 2024 - February 28, 2025 ,  Travel teams:   Black Team: September 2, 2024 - February 28, 2025,   Premier Team: September 2, 2024 - February 28, 2025 and June - July (AAU Nationals)
• Skills Academy: May - June . (5th/6th & 7th/8th grades)

High School Program:

Our High School program is designed to provide our players with total volleyball experience.   EVA is committed to ensuring that our players have access to the very best training equipment, uniforms and training.   With our experienced staff and master coaching systems, players learn to improve, reinforce, and perfect their individual and team skills.  Teams experience a competitive, supportive, fun, and positive environment designed to support each player's individual growth.  Players can expect practices to be a balance of scrimmage play and skill based drills.    Teams will break for the High School season beginning in March. 

EVA offers different Levels of Play:

• Regional / Select:  Regional or Select teams participate in 15-18 tournament dates.  All tournaments take place in Illinois or right over the boarder of Indiana and Wisconson. Season: November -  February
• Travel / Premier:  Premier teams participate in 18-20 tournament dates.  Participate in 1  travel event (all travel events are within 6 hr drive from Illinois).   Season: 1st half season: November -  April,  2nd Half:  June - July  The season will end at AAU National Championship in Florida.
• Travel / Black:  Black teams participate in 15-18 tournament dates.  Participate in 1 travel event (all travel events are within a driveable distance). The season will conclude directly prior to the High school   Black teams will have the option to continue playing after the high school break and end their season at AAU National Championship in Florida.  Season: November -  February  (AAU add on is June - July).

Middle School Program: 12U, 13U, 14U

EVA offers the fall and winter season together instead of as separate seasons to allow our teams the proper amount of time to develop and experience success on the court.   At this level of play we focus on the bulidning a solid foundation of the fundamental skills necessary to compete.   Our training program focuses on teaching the fundamental skills and giving each player the opportunity to develop at their own pace. We do NOT cut players at this level. Teams are based on a first come first serve basis and by positional need. Similar skilled players will be paired together on each team to ensure that the proper environment for growth is provided. Teams experience a competitive, supportive, fun, and positive environment designed to support each player's individual growth.  Players can expect practices to be a balance of scrimmage play and skill based drills.  

Any player that is competeing in club soccer or Fall baseball may join the team after their fall seasons conclude but are encouraged to attend practices if their schedual permit.  Players will be required to attend the boys assessment / tryout day.  If a player us unable to attend but are interested in participating in the boys season they will need to scheduel a make up assesment with: Sebastian Acevedo: sacevedo.eva@gmail.com or call 773-551-2129

The Skills Academy:  7yrs - 14yrs (open all players)

The skills Academy is our youth training program and provides players with a basic introduction to the game volleyball.  Participants learn the basic skills of passing, setting, serving and hitting.  Through fun games players learn these basic skills as well as a basic defensive and offensive positions.  Players will not participate in tournaments.  The program is  5 weeks long and provides 10 practices (20 hrs of total instruction).  All participants will receive an EVA shirt and all practices are coached by our master coaching staff and team assistants.  To ensure that best player to coach ratio the program is capped to 24 players per 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade groups.  Please note that this is on a frist come first serve basis.  The program begins May 2024 and concludes June 2025.  Program fee: $350  Registration opens April 1st, 2024.
